Once adequately equipped to enter the market independently, our agents are expected to be fully focused on executing our mission; thus, an 80 +hr weekly commitment is the norm. This position is not merely job, but a profession and way of life, in which the most dedicated agents are handsomely rewarded. With the proper work ethic, an agent can make around $100,000-$200,000.
Given our established relationships with landlords and developers of luxury properties, and international corporations, our agents can expect plenty of growth opportunities. A top agent can close nearly dozen (or more) deals per month, while earning over $3,000 per deal. Given the bulk advertising purchased by the firm, agents can expect an abundance of both savings and clients.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION

NYLS provides its agents with an attractive commission program that incorporates performance-based increases. Agents who have completed the training program can expect to close an average of four deals a month and earn an average of $80,000 a year. Top agents at NYLS can earn upwards of $200,000 a year.

IN-DEPTH TRAINING PROGRAM

NYLS seeks to provide its incoming agents with an understanding of the rentals and sales markets that will enable them to effectively serve their clients. The company has instituted a comprehensive training program, taught by managers with specialized industry knowledge and years of real estate experience, to effectively convey to agents the necessary background information and practical advice to ensure their future success.

5 Day Rental Training A thorough introduction to the New York rental market and agent training, including coverage of NYLS external and internal listing databases, exclusive accounts, and closing techniques.

7 Day Sales Training An extensive examination of the basics of the New York sales market and the mechanics of closing a sale deal. Among the topics covered are being a Buyer Broker, condos and coops, exclusives/opens, negotiations, the excusive pitch, contracts and tax abatements.

CLIENT PROCUREMENT RESOURCES

State of the Art Technology Each agent is provided with a personal work station equipped with a top of the line computer and phone. NYLS employs a full-time listings manager to run our comprehensive internal database, keeping agents as up to date as possible on apartment availability throughout New York and New Jersey. The NYLS website, www.nyls.net, is widely visited and is an excellent advertising tool.
